The Grade B pods may contain minor imperfections such as splits and cuts.  The lower moisture content makes them less plump than the Premium Grade A pods.

  • Basic Preparation To use a vanilla bean, cut each end off from the vanilla bean and slice through the vanilla bean lengthwise, remove the paste from inside the vanilla bean and use as needed.

Use vanilla seeds to add a gourmet visual cue to ice cream, custards and crème brûlées. Add to coffee grinds for vanilla-flavored coffee, or add pods to sugar to make vanilla sugar.

A Smarter Choice for Bakers

These beans are nice and dry and more pods to a pound. If you are going to use them in baking, these beans are a smart choice as they maximize the flavor in the recipe and keep costs down too. They are very flavorful, nice and dark with that true Madagascar profile.

The beans are true to the Madagascar vanilla flavor and are a good value. They were sourced directly from the local farmers. Fairly priced. Slightly drying but good and robust flavor.

Received my beans. Not all were the same size but they are all uniform in flavor which is the classic Madagascar vanilla flavor. These beans are perfect for very high quality baking! They were a bit on the dry side but any skilled baker can overlook that.
