Ugandan Planifolia Vanilla Beans Grade A

(By Count)

Ugandan Vanilla is of the planifolia species, just like the well-known Madagascar vanilla. However, they have a different flavor profile than the Madagascar Vanilla. The aroma is often described as bold raisin-like or fig-like.

The pods are often plumper than the Madagascar counterpart with more oil content, but not necessarily a higher seed density.

These Premium Grade A pods typically have a moisture content of 30-35% which means they are fresh, oily moist, and thus can easily be split to remove the caviar.

USES: Ideal for all culinary purposes, including baking, brewing, desserts, ice cream, beverages, coffee, and infusing liquors. Also great for homemade extract.

All our beans are packed in BPA-free, food-grade vacuum-sealed bags to maintain freshness for a longer time.
